First Notes and a New Year

This is the inagural effort of the MCRC Friends of Rugby weblog.
Let me start off by welcoming everyone and recalling that great phrase that never grows old, "Happy New Year!" O.K., I guess that is a little out of place but it has been a busy winter and it's all I can muster on this first posting.

To those of you who don't know, the Friends of Rugby at Middlebury College Rugby Club (FOR MCRC) is a loose affiliation of parents, friends, rugby club alumni, and groupies dedicated to hearing how and what the Middlebury College Rugby Club is doing.

Also, for the first time this year FOR MCRC will use the weblog format to disseminate news. This will enable easier posting of information than the emails of years past. I hope it works out, and people take advantage of the 'comments' section below the blog postings to share their thoughts on events they attend. I'll try to share emails I receive and will be posting photos as well. Stay tuned. Lots of action ahead.
