Middlebury College 2007 National Champions
Panthers Take The Game Away Early

Stanford University, May 5, 2007

In the words of Coach Ward Patterson Middlebury College had a 'dream come true' end to their season taking a solid game plan to the Arkansas State Indians and winning their Division II National Championship match 38-22 at Stanford's Steuber Rugby Stadium.

Senior flanker and forwards captain Jimmy Manyuru described the team's preparation for Arkansas State in his post game interview on the USA Rugby website's live satellite feed. "It was a great win for us -and we worked hard. We knew they had big forwards and quick wings and that we'd have to watch their counterattacks. We had great play from Much (Zvoma) Pascal and fly half Matt Volz and our centers today."
